Huawei Called to Launch Successor Mate X in the Third Quarter of 2020

TEKNOKU.meĀ – After launching its first folding cellphone, Huawei is now called to be preparing to release the successor of Huawei Mate X. Reportedly there are two new folding phones that will be the successors of the Mate X series.

The two folding phones were allegedly named Mate Xs and Mate X2. A leak on Twitter, @RODENT950, said that the two phones will be released in the next few months.

He mentioned, Mate X2 will be launched in the third quarter (Q3) in 2020, while Mate Xs will be introduced around March 2020 or in the MWC 2020 event at the end of February.

Huawei Mate X2 is rumored to be powered by a Kirin 1000 processor, which will be launched simultaneously at the IFA 2020 event.

Mate X2 is suspected to have a full screen on the inside and a small screen on the outside to view notifications or take selfies.

If the information is true, then how to fold the phone will be bent to the inside, different from the first Mate X that folds to the outside.

This phone is expected to have a screen width of 6.5 inches and 6.9 inches, in contrast to folding phones, in general, have a form like a tablet when opened.

While Huawei Mate Xs, this phone will reportedly be equipped with a Kirin 990 processor that supports 5G networks.
