PS Plus Free 5 Games at a Time for February 2021, Here’s the List

Teknoku.meĀ – Entering the beginning of the new month, Sony has resumed its routine tradition by presenting several free games to PlayStation Plus (PS Plus) customers. This time the number of free games was not only two as usual but five at a time.

The five games are:

  • Destruction AllStars ( PS5)
  • Control: Ultimate Edition (PS5)
  • Concrete Genie ( PS4)
  • Biped (PS4)
  • Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night (PS4).

Among the five games above, Control: Ultimate Edition is arguably the most interesting game. The reason is, this game has received a lot of praise since it was first launched in August 2019.

Control tells the story of a woman named Jesse Feden who is on a quest to find her brother, Dylan. Jesse goes to visit the Bureau of Control, the most mysterious organization in the US government.

In the midst of his investigation, Jesse found the Director of the Federal Bureau of Control who was no longer alive. Jesse who was at the scene accidentally took a mysterious weapon which killed the director of the company.

Suddenly, Jesse entered a mysterious world called Astral. Jesse then began to gain supernatural powers, such as moving objects (telekinesis) and being able to control a mysterious weapon called the Weapon of Service.

Jesse’s journey, which was already troublesome, is now getting more difficult because Jesse has to replace the position of Director of the Federal Bureau of Control.

With the power of telekinesis and mysterious weapons, Jesse is on a mission to restore the Bureau of Control from monster attacks and anomalies from other dimensions while searching for Dylan’s whereabouts.

Control: Ultimate Edition is actually free for PS4 and PS5 players. However, PS Plus customers in the Asian region can only get this free game on the PlayStation 5 console. The reasons behind the differences are not explained.

Uniquely, PS Plus customers in the Asian region actually get two other free games, namely Biped and Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.

This is different from the upload announced by the PlayStation Blog, which says that players only get three free games, namely Destruction AllStars, Control: Ultimate Edition, and Concrete Genie.

Control: Ultimate Edition and Concrete Genie, Biped, and Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night will be available for free by PlayStation Plus subscribers from February 2 to March 1, 2021.

Meanwhile, Destruction AllStars will have a longer free period, which is up to April 5, 2021.
