Samsung will no longer be releasing Galaxy Note starting next year?

Teknoku.me – The Galaxy Note is one of Samsung’s flagship cellphone lines. Every year, Samsung regularly releases the newest family member of the Note series.

Likewise in 2020. Samsung introduced the Galaxy Note 20 with the S Pen as its flagship accessory. The S Pen is what makes the Galaxy Note series different from other Galaxy lines.

However, there are allegations that Samsung will stop production of the Galaxy Note line starting next year. The news came from the tweet of Max Weinbach, a technology media writer who is also known as a gadget leaker.

In his tweet, he wrote, Samsung will at least release four Galaxy S21 phones and three foldable phones in 2021.

These phones are the Galaxy S21 FE, Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus, Galaxy S21 Ultra, Z Flip 3, Z Fold 3, and Z Flip FE. There is no Galaxy Note series that he wrote in his upload. So there is a strong suspicion that Samsung is not preparing the Galaxy Note for 2021.

Apart from Max Weinbach, the famous gadget leaker, Ice Universe, also claims that there is currently no information on the next Galaxy Note series.

South Korean media reports, The Elec, also confirmed this allegation. The Elec reported earlier this year that Samsung has not confirmed the launch of the next Note series for the second half of 2021.

The report also said that the S Pen accessory, which is the mainstay of the Galaxy Note series, will be present in the Galaxy S line. If this news is accurate, the Galaxy Note 20 will be the last Note version of Samsung’s mobile phone.

The Galaxy S smartphone that received the S Pen is said to be the Galaxy S21 Ultra. The Galaxy S21 series, codenamed “Unbound”, is said to be available in three models.

In addition, Samsung is also said to be bringing the S Pen to the latest Galaxy Z Fold model. That said, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will be the first folding-screen phone equipped with this stylus.

If the S Pen is truly brought into the Galaxy S and Galaxy Z Fold series, then this stylus will no longer be an exclusive accessory which is still the mainstay of the Galaxy Note line.

So, it might not be strange if Samsung decided not to launch the successor to the Galaxy Note 20 series.

However, this rumor still cannot be confirmed. Because at this time Samsung has not provided any confirmation regarding its latest devices for 2021.
