The Latest “Call of Duty” Game Launches in Late 2020

TEKNOKU.me – Activision prepares to launch the latest Call of Duty game towards the end of 2020. This was announced by Activision COO Cody Johnson on the sidelines of a conference call the company’s latest financial statements last week.

“In the fourth quarter of this year there will be a release of the new Call of Duty premium game, which has caused a bit of excitement in our game test,” Johnson said.

Outside the scheduled release plan, the Activision has not revealed further information about the game in question. Reportedly this game will be titled Call of Duty: Black Ops 5.

The developer is also unclear. Usually, the game Call of Duty is made interchangeably by developers Treyarch, Sledgehammer Games, and Infinity Ward.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (remastered) which was released mid-year was developed by Infinity Ward and successfully generated 600 million US dollars in the first 3 days of sales.

Previously, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 from 2018 was produced by Treyarch. This year should be Sledgehammer Games’ turn, but there is news that the development of the new Call of Duty game will be transferred to other developers.

The Call of Duty game series was first released in 2003 and has been routinely released annually.

In the same conference call, Activision CEO Bobby Kotick also said it would release more remastered games, given the success of the game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Spyro, to Crash Bandicoot remastered.

“In addition to the remastered version, in the future, we will also present games with new ideas and innovations,” Kotick said.
