Huawei Mate 30 Pro Camera Named the Best

TEKNOKU.meĀ – Huawei’s latest flagship phone, Mate 30 Pro, won the top spot on the smartphone list with the best camera currently on the DxOMark camera benchmarking site.

The Mate 30 Pro main camera recorded an overall score of 121 points on the DXO Mark, beating the previous record-holder, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ 5G, which scored 117 points.

When detailed, the numbers that greatly helped the DxOMark Mate 30 Pro score skyrocketed were the photo category scores which reached 131 points and the video recording score of 100 points.

This high photo score is obtained thanks to the image quality produced by the 40 megapixels (f / 1.6, 27mm, OIS) Super Sensing camera’s main camera.

This main camera is capable of producing images with very clear textures with minimal noise, even in low light conditions.

In addition, the ability of the night mode (Night Mode), along with telephoto on Mate 30 Pro also helps this phone to show off in a number of trials conducted by the DxOMark site.

As for the telephoto business itself, Huawei relies on an 8-megapixel telephoto lens (f / 2.4, 80 mm, OIS) with 3x optical zoom.

Although the optical zoom capability is lower than the Huawei P30 Pro which has optical zooming capability up to 5x, Mate 30 Pro is able to produce optimal images thanks to the artificial intelligence photo processing algorithm (AI).

In addition to the two cameras earlier, there are also two other rear camera cameras in Mate 30 Pro that help the DxOMark’s mobile scores are fairly high.

They are 40 MP Cine ultrawide cameras (f / 1.8, 18mm) SuperSensing cameras that can be used to shoot with super wide range mode, and there is also a 3D ToF camera that can produce bokeh effects on photos better than the P30 Pro.

In addition to the rear camera, DxOMark also scores for the ability of the front camera Mate 30 Pro which has a resolution of 32 megapixels (f / 2.0).

For the front camera, Huawei Mate 30 Pro gets an average score of 93 points.

If specified, DxoMark gave 97 points for the ability to photograph the front camera and 88 points for video capabilities.
