LG OLED TVs Can Be Rolled Up Like Projector Screens

TEKNOKU.me – In the 2019 Consumer Electronic Show (CES) event, the LG Display TV manufacturer revealed a TV whose screen could be rolled like a paper.

Now, at the CES 2020 event held in Las Vegas, USA, LG Display is showing off its latest rollable TV set, which can actually be rolled up.

If imagined, the OLED paneled TV with a wide 65-inch stretch (4K resolution) is similar to a projector screen that is commonly found in tight spaces. Moreover, this device is also called can be installed on the ceiling of the house.

Because it can be rolled up, the TV screen can be pulled down when it wants to be used, and then rolled up again after it’s finished.

Even so, it is not certain whether the TV that can be rolled up by LG will be sold commercially or not.

In addition to the rollable TV set, LG also exhibited a number of other OLED-paneled TV sets at the CES 2020 event.

One of them is a TV that can be mounted on an aircraft wall, to maximize user comfort.

Some of these include a 55-inch OLED TV designed for aircraft cabin walls, a 65-inch OLED TV with adjustable curves on both sides, and a transparent 55-inch OLED TV that can be inserted as a partition in the aircraft cabin.

There are also various LG OLED TVs that will come in various sizes, ranging from 48 inches, 55 inches, 65 inches, 77 inches, up to 88 inches.
