List of PS5 Games Delayed Release in 2021

Teknoku.me – The Covid-19 pandemic has hampered the development of the global gaming industry. This is indicated by the number of PlayStation 5 (PS5) game titles that have delayed release times.

The Work From Home (WFH) policy which was echoed to prevent the spread of Covid-19, also limited the space for game developers.

This resulted in the game development process being hampered so that it had to delay the game launch time from the proper date.

The duration of the delay in each game is quite varied, ranging from a few months to a matter of years. Some game titles have even been delayed more than twice, one of which is Kena: Bridge of Spirits.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits was originally slated for release in late 2020. The launch schedule was postponed and was supposed to be released on August 24 this year.

However, Ember Lab again delayed the launch date until now it has now been rescheduled to September 21. Another game title that suffered a similar fate was Gran Turismo 7. The launch date of this racing game was postponed to 2022 from the initial launch time, which was in mid-2021.

Apart from Kena: Bridge of Spirits and Gran Turismo 7, several other PS5 games are experiencing problems. delays in launch times, such as Far Cry 6, God of War Ragnarok, Hogwarts Legacy, and many more.
