Rumors of Leaking Name of Latest Foldable Cellphones from Samsung, Not Samsung Fold

TEKNOKU.me – Samsung is predicted to soon launch its second-generation folding phone. The name of this device is still unknown.

Previously it was rumored that Samsung CEO DJ Koh set the nickname “Galaxy Bloom”, instead of “Galaxy Fold” as the company’s first-generation folding cellphone.

However, rumors now appear that the name referred to is not Galaxy Bloom or Galaxy Fold, but the Galaxy Z Flip.

That information came from the reliable leaker of Ice Universe through his Twitter account, @UniverseIce. In a tweet, he said “Galaxy Z Flip” while including a picture containing the name written on a yellow background.

In terms of appearance in previous leaks, the Galaxy Z Flip has a shape more like a Galaxy Note 10 that can be folded horizontally, the style of the Motorola Razr 2019.

Samsung is said to have said that the Galaxy Z Flip is designed to resemble a cosmetic tool to make it easier for female consumers to hold it.

Galaxy Z Flip is also said to be carrying a flexible glass-coated screen that can be bent, not a polymer plastic coating like in the previous Galaxy Fold.

This folding phone will reportedly also have top-class specifications, including a Snapdragon 855 SoC with a 110-megapixel selfie camera with a 6.7-inch Infinity-O screen.

Interestingly, the selling price is said to be far cheaper than Galaxy Fold, which is 857 US dollars.

Samsung allegedly will announce this flagship phone on 11 February, along with the three Galaxy S20 series. We wait for it.
